ORIGINAL DON MAYFIELD OIL PAINTING

Here is a true piece of Pit Bull history!  From our collection we are offering an ORIGINAL signed oil painting by the well known artist Lamoine Dave Nyman. His favorite subject was the Pit Bull and his master and he excels in this portrait of the famous dogman Don Mayfield in his prime holding Stockton's Big Liz (sister to Carver's Miss Spike) while at a big event in the 1970s.  Dave has captured the energy of the moment and the bond between man and dog in this fine painting. Dave painted this work in the 1980s, it is an oil painting on stretched canvas and the size is 11" by 14".  It has been framed in a custom wood frame and the outside dimensions are 16" by 19".

Unfortunately both Dave Nyman and Don Mayfield have passed away now. A wonderful and unique piece of Bulldog history from the bygone days of the breed. This is a treasure you would search a long time to find, offered for the reasonable price of $500.00 USD, plus shipping.
